The build up to the rowing world championships continued this week as TVNZ's weatherman Tamati Coffey presented the morning's weather slots for the Breakfast programme from Lake Karapiro with plenty of information about the championships which begin on October 31st.
The world champion men's pair - Eric Murray and Hamish Bond - made an appearence before their morning session on the water to talk about the build up to the event and the rpessure of defending their world title not only at home, but also on the water they train on every day.
Back in the studio Pippa Wetzel - a former rower - was genuinely excited about the prospect of the championships coming to New Zealand, so perhaps she'll come along and watch. Couch buddy Paul Henry was clearly less enthusiastic!
